Louis Lake Lodge

Louis Lake Lodge is an afford­able fam­ily adven­ture rent­ing his­toric log cab­ins, horses, canoes and kayaks. Located in the Shoshone National For­est on Louis Lake near Lan­der, Wyoming.

There is no elec­tric­ity at Louis Lake!  That’s right, no tele­vi­sions, no tele­phones, or lap­tops.  Bring your own flash­lights, and we pro­vide propane lanterns, bed­ding, tow­els and kitchen uten­sils.  Even cell phones don’t work well at Louis Lake. The clos­est gro­cery store is an hour drive in the town of Lan­der, which is 9 miles down a dirt road and another 30 miles on highway.

5 his­toric, rus­tic loge cab­ins built in 1940.?2 mod­ern fam­ily log cab­ins built in the last 15 years.?3 mod­ern lodge rooms.?1 secluded log cabin.?A few tent and RV sites for over-flow from cabin rentals.
The entire facil­ity can house 50–60 peo­ple comfortably.
